Travelling by bus can be cheaper and quicker than commuting by car through peak hour traffic congestion. With fuel prices at near record levels and a number of ticket offers available the bus is becoming a more and more attractive travel option.
As shown on this map the Chester Business Park is well served by a number of services which combine to provide more than 6 buses an hour between the site and Chester city centre. Other key locations served directly from the business park include Wrexham, Broughton and Mold, but if there isn’t a direct route to where you live don’t worry, with the Arriva weekly ticket you can change to as many Arriva connecting services as you need at no extra cost.
Staff and contractors are able to benefit from a substantially reduced price on a weekly North West and Wales Arriva bus ticket. This ticket allows travel on any Arriva bus within the North West and Wales area (see map) for just £14 a week. These reduced tickets cannot be bought on bus, and must be bought in advance of travel from either the Phase 1 or Phase 5 reception.
Staff and contractors can take advantage of a reduced lunchtime fare when travelling into Chester on an Arriva bus. Single tickets costing just £1.25 can be purchased from the Phase 1 or Phase 5 reception, and can be used on either service 1, or the X4 between 12 noon and 2pm, Monday to Friday. Tickets must be bought in advance, and are only valid between these times.
On the last Friday of every month, between 12 noon and 2pm, Arriva are offering staff and contractors the opportunity to travel into Chester and back for FREE on service 1. The offer is only valid between these times, and a valid staff ID pass must be presented to the driver when you board. Travelling on the service 1 will allow you to experience Arrivas new Sapphire buses, featuring high back leather seats, free WiFi, extra leg room and more.
